The Summit County Clerk is responsible for ensuring that every election is conducted lawfully, securely, and transparently.
This role requires deep knowledge of election law, strong operational leadership, and the ability to remain grounded and impartial — even when elections become contentious.
I have spent my career working inside complex public systems, navigating legislative oversight, public scrutiny, and high-pressure decision-making. I understand how critical it is to follow the law, document decisions clearly, and communicate with the public honestly.
As Clerk, my commitment is simple: run elections competently, safeguard public records, and protect the integrity of the process — with competency and transparency.
Why me for clerk?
I’m running for County Clerk because I know what it takes to hold the line when process matters.
I’ve been in rooms where decisions were unpopular but legally necessary. I’ve worked under legislative pressure. I’ve managed complex public processes while listening to strong emotions from all sides.
The Clerk doesn’t get to choose what is politically convenient — only what is lawful and accurate. That responsibility requires steadiness, discernment, and experience. I bring all three.
